The very first store and birthplace of Krispy Kreme is in Winston-Salem NC where I lived for 20 years or so and my parents still do. I always remember going there as a kid and later at 3am to eat those donuts right out of the fryer, all hot, gooey and soft. Now I am hungry.....did they say key-lime donuts?!!!
